Karen Huang Saraco

Yoga Instructor

Karen brings playful energy to her yoga classes, mixing humor, music, and movement to help you feel free in your body. Her Kundalini based classes blend modern beats with traditional mantras, adding in guided meditation and somatic and fascial release practices that work for everyone. She's had the privilege of completing her pregnancy yoga trainings with two world renowned pregnancy yoga pioneers: Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Jane Austin. She is passionate about uplifting her community and supporting the next generation of mothers, children and their families.

As a working mom with two teenage boys, Karen gets how overwhelming life can be and feel. Kundalini yoga provided her a pathway to help heal from her own burnout, overwhelm, and grief. This practice showed her that we all have the power to shift our energy, recover, heal and transform. Feeling the shift and release Kundalini is known for sparked her further exploration and desire to complete her 220 hr Kundalini teacher training with Liya Garber. Seeing the light within her students shine is what drives her to teach and to help others find their own inner truth and light.

Karen's mission is simple: foster community and help people connect with their bodies and release what holds us back from experiencing more joy and peace. As a BIPOC woman, she knows how important it is to see yourself represented and feels honored to hold space for others on their healing journey. Her gentle approach helps students create safety in their nervous systems to allow for connection, release, and transformation. 

 

Khalsa Way Pregnancy/Post-Natal Yoga


This dynamic practice builds the physical and mental strength, flexibility, and energy you need during pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, and parenthood.  Learn to balance effort with softness and surrender to the present moment - essential skills for birth and beyond. Breathwork and meditation reduce stress and support you during this sacred time, preparing your body for birth while deepening your connection with yourself and your growing baby.

Start your morning off with this dynamic practice that will awaken your body and prepare you for the days ahead.

 

This class emphasizes mindfulness and gentle release through breathwork & dynamic movement to push prana out of the body to clear stagnation.  You will leave refreshed & energized to take on what the day brings. 

 

Please wear loose, comfortable clothes and bring water.
